Greyhound buses now board at the Augusta Transit Center, 1546 Broad St., under a five-year lease. Where to buy tickets, what runs to Atlanta and how to connect.
Greyhound buses now leave from the same Broad Street building as Augusta Transit’s city buses. The city announced the move Monday.
The Augusta Commission approved a five-year lease on Aug. 4. It lets FLIX, Greyhound’s parent company, operate from the Transit Transfer Facility at 1546 Broad St. That is according to the city’s Oct. 5 announcement.
What is at the transit center
Greyhound has taken over the space Southeastern Stages used to occupy. The city said that space includes:
- a customer service and ticketing counter
- a boarding bay
- a baggage storage area
The lease also brings Augusta Transit rent from the space. The city did not give the amount in its announcement.
“This partnership gives residents and visitors another convenient transportation option while making better use of our existing transit facility,” Augusta Transit Director Sharon Dottery said.
What runs from Augusta
Greyhound’s own Augusta to Atlanta page lists the stop as 1546 Broad St., at the City of Augusta Transit Center. On Tuesday it showed:

| First bus | 10:30 a.m. |
| Last bus | 6:40 p.m. |
