Tickets
Augusta National, Inc. says it is the only authorized seller of Masters tickets. Resale of any Masters ticket is prohibited, and the club says people holding tickets bought from third parties may be turned away at the gate.
- 2027: the application process is closed and all tickets have been allocated.
- 2028: new applicants can create an account on masters.com now. Applications open June 1 and close June 20, 2027, and payments open in late July.
- Series badges: the club says its series badges are fully subscribed. For 2026, people on the patron list were emailed in early January and paid by Jan. 31.
Tickets are good for two gate entries a day. Once you have used both, you cannot get back in that day.
Getting there: parking, rideshare and traffic
Augusta National provides free patron parking on a first-come, first-served basis, and signs direct drivers to the gates. The club asks patrons to scan the QR code on the back of their ticket, or on its parking map, (the 2025 map is the latest posted) for turn-by-turn directions to the nearest open lot.
- Rideshare and taxis have their own lots along Washington Road next to the North Gate. A rideshare drop-off defaults to a pin in the rideshare lot. A check stand outside the North Gate holds phones before you go in.
- Traffic: the club says temporary turn restrictions, road closures and operational changes are in place during the tournament, and it asks drivers to follow the signs. Tune to WGAC, 95.1 FM or 580 AM, for traffic and parking updates.
- The city’s plan: in 2026 the city closed the eastbound Interstate 20 exit ramp to Washington Road at 7 a.m. each day of tournament week, blocked left turns from Washington Road onto Berckmans Road and said it could close Alexander Drive if traffic backed up onto Riverwatch Parkway, WRDW reported. Patron lots did not open before 6 a.m. and were closed to cars and people on foot from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. The 2026 plan was announced in March; we will add the 2027 plan here when the city publishes it.
Officials also told WRDW not to type “Augusta National” into a GPS, because it routes drivers to Magnolia Lane, far from the parking areas. Use the QR code or the club’s directions link instead. Our road construction and closures page carries the city’s traffic notices.
What to know on the grounds
There are two patron gates. The North Gate is closest to the practice area, the clubhouse and the No. 1 fairway. The South Gate is a shorter walk to most of the course, including Amen Corner and holes 15 and 16. Both gates have merchandise, concessions and restrooms.
Prohibited items include:
- cellphones, laptops, tablets and other electronics (fitness bands and electronic watches are allowed)
- cameras on tournament days, Thursday to Sunday; on practice round days, cameras are allowed for still photos for personal use, with one lens no longer than 8 inches
- strollers
- food, drinks and coolers
- bags, backpacks and purses larger than 10 by 10 by 12 inches
- chairs with pointed ends, folding armchairs and rigid chairs
- flags, banners and signs; ladders, tripods and selfie sticks; golf shoes with metal spikes
All items are subject to search. The grounds are cashless: concessions, golf shops and shipping take credit and debit cards only. The club suggests watching play in the morning and shopping in the afternoon. On rainy or hot days, check the forecast and dress for it.
