Brunch and dinner

We list Father’s Day menus only when a restaurant posts them. In 2026, Visit Augusta’s guide pointed to a special Father’s Day brunch at Finch and Fifth, and to The Brunch House of Augusta and Cafe on Eighth; for dinner, Edgar’s Grille for steak and BBQ Barn for hickory-smoked barbecue. For drinks it named 2nd City Distilling Co., Savannah River Brewing Company and Ready Player One, and said Frog Hollow Tavern and Whiskey Bar Kitchen make mocktails. Our brunch guide and date night guide have addresses and official links.

Outdoors with Dad

Paddle the river or the canal. Visit Augusta names Paddle Augusta and Cole Watkins Tours for kayak trips.
Walk or ride the Augusta Canal towpath from the Headgates or the Mill Village Trailhead; see our walking and biking trails guide.
Fish at Phinizy Swamp. The county-maintained Mayor’s Fishin’ Hole at Phinizy Swamp Nature Park allows up to eight fish a day with a Georgia fishing license (Phinizy Center).
Lake Olmstead Park, 2205 Broad St., has a walking trail and disc golf, and Pendleton King Park, 1600 Troupe St., has disc golf and a dog park (city park finder).
