Valentine's Day is Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027. No Augusta events are announced yet; the Riverwalk, the Morris, the theaters and the canal, with official links.

Valentine’s Day falls on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, so expect most special dinners and shows on Saturday, Feb. 13. Augusta restaurants and venues post their Valentine’s plans in January. Until then, here is what is already on the calendar for February, and where to look.

Date ideas that do not need a reservation

A walk on the Riverwalk. Visit Augusta suggests a sunset picnic on the Augusta Riverwalk along the Savannah River; there is access at 6th, 8th, 9th and 10th streets downtown.
The Morris on a Sunday. The Morris Museum of Art runs FREE Sundays at the Morris, noon to 5 p.m. in its October listings. Valentine’s Day is a Sunday; check the calendar for that week before you go.
Outdoors together. Hike the trails at Phinizy Swamp Nature Park, 1858 Lock and Dam Road, or ride the Augusta Canal towpath from the Headgates or the Mill Village Trailhead. Our walking and biking trails guide has distances and parking.
A brewery stop. Visit Augusta points couples to Savannah River Brewing Company and Stillwater Taproom, many of which add food trucks or music.

Dinner

Visit Augusta’s Valentine’s guide names Frog Hollow Tavern (farm-to-table Southern), Craft and Vine (cocktails and small plates downtown) and TacoCat (tacos, more relaxed), and The Boll Weevil Cafe for dessert.
