13 ice cream, frozen yogurt, shaved ice, doughnut and cake shops in Augusta, from Agerton Lane to downtown, with hours from their own sites.

Last checked Oct. 6, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Augusta’s ice cream shops cluster on Agerton Lane, off Washington Road by the I-20 interchange, where Bruster’s and Tutti Frutti sit side by side, and on Washington Road itself. Downtown has the Boll Weevil on James Brown Boulevard, and there are more on Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway, Wrightsboro Road and Walton Way Extension.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Augusta’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 6, 2026. We added places we found in the Georgia Department of Public Health inspection database for Richmond County, and kept a place with no website of its own only where a 2026 inspection record shows it operating. Bakeries are here too: we could confirm too few to give them a page of their own. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it.
