5 barbecue restaurants in Augusta, downtown on Broad Street, by Augusta Exchange and on the south side, with hours from each place's own site.

Last checked Oct. 6, 2026. Refreshed every three months.

Augusta’s barbecue places do not cluster. There is one place downtown on Broad Street, one by Augusta Exchange on Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway, and three on the south side, off Bobby Jones Expressway, on Deans Bridge Road and on Barton Chapel Road.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Augusta’s city limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 6, 2026. We added places we found in the Georgia Department of Public Health inspection database for Richmond County, and kept a place with no website only where a 2026 inspection record shows it operating. Food trucks and caterers without a dining room are left out. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? The places

Bradley’s BBQ is a barbecue restaurant on Broad Street downtown. Its menu lists pulled pork and pulled chicken with Bradley’s own sauces and sides such as potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, green beans and mac and cheese, and it has a separate catering menu. Its site also shows a second, shorter set of hours; the times in the table are the ones it labels restaurant hours.

Eat It All BBQ on Deans Bridge Road, on the south side, has no website of its own. A June 25, 2026, county inspection record confirms it is operating. Call for hours.

Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q is the barbecue chain’s Augusta location, by Augusta Exchange off Interstate 520 and Wheeler Road. Its location page lists dine-in hours seven days a week and a separate catering line.

Sconyers Bar-B-Que says it has served the area for more than 60 years. Its site says the barbecue is pit-cooked over live coals for 24 hours, names ribs, beef brisket and hash and rice, and says the restaurant has six dining rooms seating more than 400 people. It offers takeout, a drive-thru and catering, about half a mile off Bobby Jones Expressway at exit 7. Its site does not post hours or a phone number.

Wright’s BBQ on Barton Chapel Road had a website that no longer loads. A Jan. 22, 2026, inspection record confirms it is operating; the phone is the one on that record.

Hawaiian barbecue. Two places use “barbecue” in their names but serve Hawaiian plate lunches, not Southern barbecue, so they are not in the table: Hawaiian Style BBQ at 2801 Washington Road, Suite 105, and Fire Shaka Hawaiian BBQ in the Augusta Mall, 3450 Wrightsboro Road. Both have 2026 inspection records.

Related lists: wings, pizza, Mexican and Tex-Mex, breakfast and coffee, burgers, sushi and Asian, ice cream and desserts, patios and outdoor dining and every list by category. Also: brunch, date night, the business directory and restaurant inspection scores.
