The Academy of Richmond County’s 2025 CCRPI single score was 63.0, according to the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement’s School Grades data. The Georgia average for high schools was 76.9 and the Richmond County School System’s was 56.9. The school’s single score was 64.7 in 2023, 57.7 in 2024 and 63.0 in 2025. CCRPI is the Georgia Department of Education’s “comprehensive school improvement, accountability, and communication platform,” according to GaDOE. The single score runs from 0 to 100 and is built from content mastery, progress, closing gaps and readiness, plus graduation rate for high schools. Georgia does not publish an A-to-F letter grade for schools in its 2025 data.

Georgia Milestones end-of-course tests, 2025, share of tested students at each of the two top levels:

Subject Proficient Distinguished
American literature 17.3% 2%
Algebra 8.2% 3%
Biology 20.3% 6.2%
U.S. history 16.6% 21.5%

The four-year graduation rate for the class of 2025 was 87%, against 87.2% statewide, in the same state data. For the class of 2026, the district said ARC’s rate went up but did not give the figure in its Sept. 28, 2026, release; the district rate was 84.2%.

Attendance zone

Zones are set by the Richmond County School System and do not follow neighborhood lines or city limits. Check any address in the district’s School Zone and Bus Stop Locator. The district does not publish a feeder list; the feeder schools below come from that locator, which we checked at about 1,200 points across Richmond County on Oct. 6, 2026. ARC’s zone takes in Fort Eisenhower and parts of west and central Augusta. On post, students go through Freedom Park K-8 School; elsewhere, Belair Middle and Langford-Tutt Middle each send part of their zones to ARC. The elementary schools in those areas include Sue Reynolds, Copeland, Monte Sano and part of Lake Forest Hills. Our neighborhoods guide found Summerville and Belair split between ARC and Westside.

Under the district’s 2026 Long-Range Facilities Master Plan, T.W. Josey stops being a zoned high school after the 2028-29 school year, and the district’s plan FAQ, published Feb. 6, 2026, says students in the Josey zone would then be reassigned to the Academy of Richmond County, Butler and Laney zones from 2029-30. The board has since moved ahead with the plan: on March 25, 2026, it named the T.W. Josey High School College and Career Academy that will replace Josey on its campus, according to a district release.
